Decorated and furnished to a very high standard, this property boasts a stylist mix of period features and modern amenities such as original beams and three en-suite bedrooms. This well-equipped cottage is set in an excellent position and makes an ideal base from which to explore Dorset and Wessex. There are a number of local footpaths to discover whilst the village itself is perfectly positioned for taking advantage of the superb surrounding countryside and walks.

All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels (not tea towels) inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and baby bath available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Private side patio area with furniture, leading via steps to private lawned garden and shed (must bring own padlock), and communal front gravelled area with benches. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk, pub 1 mile. |

The county town of Dorchester, with its High Street lined with 17th and 18th Century houses, is little changed from Hardy’s day, while the pretty town of Shaftesbury has been used as a location in countless films set in Olde England.
